129. PRECEPT: HAVING A SIKKHAMĀNĀ BATHE ONESELF.
Likewise with regard to the Sikkhamānā. Therefore, the Buddha taught: Even one who has already heard it must hear it again:
—If a bhikkhunī who is not ill instructs a Sikkhamānā to massage and scrub her, she commits a Pācittiya offense.
EXPLANATION:
Sikkhamānā: One who complies with eighteen duties and trains in the precepts for two years.
Instructing to massage and scrub: As stated above in the matter concerning the bhikkhunī.
