Within the Tathagata’s stupa, light many lamps. One should burn many rare and precious incenses. Of those precious incenses there are many kinds: five hundred portions of the most excellent agarwood incense.

Five parts of precious frankincense, five parts of precious đố-lộ incense, and also three liang of benzoin incense; use the same amount of quỷ-giáp aromatic leaves.

Use the same amount as above of precious fenugreek incense, and three parts more of patchouli and tangerine peel. These measured portions should all be complete; of four parts of cattail pollen, take one part.

There must be a full ten parts of stone-bark incense, two parts more of turmeric-flower incense, and also two parts of benzoin incense; use the same amount as above of blue-lotus incense.

Set all such incenses out to dry. Once they have dried, grind them into powder. Then take rare and excellent honey and blend it together with those incenses.

There are also two kinds of rare and excellent honey; use each separately to blend with the incenses above. If sumana-flower oil is available, use that oil to anoint both hands. With the oil-anointed hands, turn over the incenses above. When this is done, place them in a stone vessel. Only after all such incenses have been blended together should they be taken and burned within the Buddha’s stupa.

Cause all Buddhas to rejoice greatly and arouse a compassionate heart toward sentient beings. Offer myriad kinds of supremely wondrous incense, myriad kinds of wondrous music, and beautiful flowers.

Bearing fragrant oil upon the head, light precious lamps and recite these dharanis. If one wishes to follow the teachings of the Buddhas, one should comply with all the foregoing instructions.

Whatever one wishes for will be fulfilled; within but a short time, one’s aspiration will be accomplished. The wisdom of the dharani is not difficult to attain, for hosts of spirits provide their protection: yakshas, kumbhandas, bhutas, hungry ghosts, pishachas, and nagas will likewise comply with their wishes.

If possessions are lost, inform them of it; repeatedly approach them and let them know. Whatever undertaking one performs will be accomplished. These are the secret words of spirits. To the devas, the hosts of yakshas, the nagas, and the kumbhandas, proclaim these phrases of the mantra.

Through the power of merit and diligent effort, every undertaking will be perfectly accomplished. Whatever anyone seeks within the heart will also be fulfilled according to their wishes.

hương ngộ lỗ, hồ rô ba bạt để, phân đa mạn để, át rị tha bạt để, bà hô ba ra na thiết đa nam, chước sô mễ, chước sô bạt để, hô rị hắt lý, a tri nễ bà tễ, để sát kiệt, hê đề rị, đề bà bạt để bạt ra bà ra, bát tha du đễ, phù đa bát để, y ha mỗi hê, a tỳ sát nam, át tha bạt để, phù hô bát ra na, thiết đa na, đà ra ni, yên hê nễ, mạn để rị đa, truy ba lam, ca ma cù na chá, tỳ bạt rị để, đa tát tỳ, mai thổ na đạt ma, tỳ bạt rị để, đa du địa, tát ra bà ba ra ma đà, tỳ bạt rị để, đa chất để

Keep the dharani in mind. Having recited and upheld this dharani, whenever one wishes or needs to enter the royal palace, one should arouse the mind and recollect this divine mantra.

Whatever royal station one has in mind will be attained. Many thousands of people, the royal household and its retinue, will all possess pure faith; the sovereign’s subjects throughout the realm will also be faithful and harmonious.

They will make abundant offerings to the Sugatas. Many thousands of sentient beings, beyond all reckoning, will comply with the king’s actions, and friends will always live in harmony with one another.

Whatever enterprises they conduct will quickly succeed, and they will never encounter evil persons.

Some sentient beings may have deluded and turbid minds and, dwelling far away, may offer no praise. On seeing such persons, know that they possess neither luminous majesty nor the capacity to bear great awe-inspiring virtue.

If a treasury is lost, it will not be difficult to find. If wealth is lost, it will also readily be recovered. If speech is lost, it will readily return. If any fields of knowledge are lost, they too will readily be regained.

One will master every kind of book, celestial calculation, phonology, craftsmanship, and skill; even things never heard before will not be difficult to understand. One will skillfully serve as a spiritual guide for sentient beings and skillfully subdue adversaries.

At the time of death, though confronted by terror, one’s mind will not become confused. When one seeks unsurpassed bodhi, all assemblies of women will show compassion. Treasures difficult to obtain will all be readily acquired.

One will bring forth wisdom and skill concerning the meaning of every text and be fit to serve as a good physician to several hundred people. Wherever one is born, one’s eyes will be free from illness, and all who see one will recognize one’s unsurpassed wisdom.

Whatever clothing they seek will accord with their wishes. Whatever food and drink they seek will be available for their use. If they draw near to a wealthy person, that person will comply with them. All undertakings will be accomplished through the merit of the mantra.

They will uphold the dharani without weariness and will not tire when expounding the Dharma. As they explain the doctrines contained in the sutras, their wisdom will never be exhausted.

On seeing possessions, they should not become envious. When they see that something ought to be accepted, they should immediately say so. If they delight in clothing and become arrogant at heart, they do not possess the wisdom of the dharani.

If they become covetous regarding the homes of friends or give rise to attachment toward bowls and robes, those who are bound by such craving do not possess the wisdom-mind of the dharani.
