Subhuti, when a great bodhisattva practices prajnaparamita, wishing to perfect the thirty-two marks of a great being, the bodhisattva, within those very thirty-two marks of a great being, embraces all the paramitas of generosity, pure morality, patient acceptance, diligence, meditative concentration, and prajnaparamita, thereby bringing forth the thirty-two marks of a great being; embraces all the four dhyanas, four immeasurables, and four formless absorptions, thereby bringing forth the thirty-two marks of a great being; embraces all the four foundations of mindfulness, four right efforts, four bases of spiritual power, five faculties, five powers, seven factors of awakening, and eightfold noble path, thereby bringing forth the thirty-two marks of a great being;
embraces all the gateways to liberation of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, thereby bringing forth the thirty-two marks of a great being; embraces all the Noble Truths of suffering, its origin, its cessation, and the path, thereby bringing forth the thirty-two marks of a great being; embraces all the eight liberations, eight spheres of mastery, nine successive absorptions, and ten universal spheres, thereby bringing forth the thirty-two marks of a great being; embraces all the gateways of samadhi and gateways of dharani, thereby bringing forth the thirty-two marks of a great being;

embraces all suchness, the dharma realm, the nature of dharmas, the nature free from falsity, the nature free from change, the nature of equality, the nature of freedom from arising, the certainty of dharmas, the abiding of dharmas, the limit of reality, the realm of space, and the inconceivable realm, thereby bringing forth the thirty-two marks of a great being; embraces all the five kinds of eyes and six superknowledges, thereby bringing forth the thirty-two marks of a great being; embraces all the ten powers of a Buddha, four fearlessnesses, four unhindered understandings, and eighteen distinctive qualities of a Buddha, thereby bringing forth the thirty-two marks of a great being;

Through these causes and conditions, the bodhisattva entertains no notion of duality.
Subhuti, when a great bodhisattva practices prajnaparamita, wishing to perfect the eighty subsidiary characteristics, the bodhisattva, within those very eighty subsidiary characteristics, embraces all the paramitas of generosity, pure morality, patient acceptance, diligence, meditative concentration, and prajnaparamita, thereby bringing forth the eighty subsidiary characteristics; embraces all the four dhyanas, four immeasurables, and four formless absorptions, thereby bringing forth the eighty subsidiary characteristics; embraces all the four foundations of mindfulness, four right efforts, four bases of spiritual power, five faculties, five powers, seven factors of awakening, and eightfold noble path, thereby bringing forth the eighty subsidiary characteristics;
embraces all the gateways to liberation of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, thereby bringing forth the eighty subsidiary characteristics; embraces all the Noble Truths of suffering, its origin, its cessation, and the path, thereby bringing forth the eighty subsidiary characteristics; embraces all the eight liberations, eight spheres of mastery, nine successive absorptions, and ten universal spheres, thereby bringing forth the eighty subsidiary characteristics; embraces all the gateways of samadhi and gateways of dharani, thereby bringing forth the eighty subsidiary characteristics;
embraces all the emptiness of the internal, emptiness of the external, emptiness of the internal and external, emptiness of emptiness, great emptiness, emptiness of the ultimate meaning, emptiness of the conditioned, emptiness of the unconditioned, ultimate emptiness, emptiness without bounds, emptiness of dispersion, emptiness of nonchange, emptiness of essential nature, emptiness of individual characteristics, emptiness of common characteristics, emptiness of all dharmas, emptiness of the ungraspable, emptiness of nonexistence, emptiness of intrinsic nature, and emptiness of the intrinsic nature of nonexistence, thereby bringing forth the eighty subsidiary characteristics;

Through these causes and conditions, the bodhisattva entertains no notion of duality.
Furthermore, Subhuti, because that great bodhisattva practices prajnaparamita, when practicing the paramita of generosity, the bodhisattva abides in an uncontaminated mind while practicing the paramita of generosity; or when practicing the paramitas of pure morality, patient acceptance, diligence, meditative concentration, and prajnaparamita, the bodhisattva abides in an uncontaminated mind while practicing pure morality through prajnaparamita. Therefore, although practicing generosity through prajnaparamita, the bodhisattva entertains no notion of duality.
Subhuti, because that great bodhisattva practices prajnaparamita, when cultivating the four dhyanas, the bodhisattva abides in an uncontaminated mind while cultivating the four dhyanas; or when cultivating the four immeasurables and four formless absorptions, the bodhisattva abides in an uncontaminated mind while cultivating the four immeasurables and four formless absorptions. Therefore, although cultivating the four dhyanas, four immeasurables, and four formless absorptions, the bodhisattva entertains no notion of duality.
Subhuti, because that great bodhisattva practices prajnaparamita, when cultivating the four foundations of mindfulness, the bodhisattva abides in an uncontaminated mind while cultivating the four foundations of mindfulness; or when cultivating the four right efforts, four bases of spiritual power, five faculties, five powers, seven factors of awakening, and eightfold noble path, the bodhisattva abides in an uncontaminated mind while cultivating the four right efforts through the eightfold noble path. Therefore, although cultivating the four foundations of mindfulness, four right efforts, four bases of spiritual power, five faculties, five powers, seven factors of awakening, and eightfold noble path, the bodhisattva entertains no notion of duality.
Subhuti, because that great bodhisattva practices prajnaparamita, when cultivating the gateway to liberation of emptiness, the bodhisattva abides in an uncontaminated mind while cultivating the gateway to liberation of emptiness; or when cultivating the gateways to liberation of signlessness and wishlessness, the bodhisattva abides in an uncontaminated mind while cultivating the gateways to liberation of signlessness and wishlessness. Therefore, although cultivating the gateways to liberation of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, the bodhisattva entertains no notion of duality.
Subhuti, because that great bodhisattva practices prajnaparamita, when cultivating the Noble Truth of suffering, the bodhisattva abides in an uncontaminated mind while cultivating the Noble Truth of suffering; or when cultivating the Noble Truths of its origin, its cessation, and the path, the bodhisattva abides in an uncontaminated mind while cultivating the Noble Truths of its origin, its cessation, and the path. Therefore, although cultivating the Noble Truths of suffering, its origin, its cessation, and the path, the bodhisattva entertains no notion of duality.
Subhuti! Because that great bodhisattva cultivates prajnaparamita, when cultivating the eight liberations, he abides with an uncontaminated mind and cultivates the eight liberations; or when cultivating the eight spheres of mastery, the nine successive absorptions, and the ten spheres of totality, he abides with an uncontaminated mind and cultivates the eight spheres of mastery, the nine successive absorptions, and the ten spheres of totality. Therefore, although he cultivates the eight liberations, the eight spheres of mastery, the nine successive absorptions, and the ten spheres of totality, he entertains no perception of duality.
Subhuti! Because that great bodhisattva cultivates prajnaparamita, when cultivating all gateways of samadhi, he abides with an uncontaminated mind and cultivates all gateways of samadhi; or when cultivating all gateways of dharani, he abides with an uncontaminated mind and cultivates all gateways of dharani. Therefore, although he cultivates all gateways of dharani and gateways of samadhi, he entertains no perception of duality.
