Homage to the Holy Sovereign Lord,
Samantabhadra Vajrapani.
In order to subdue all,
He manifests the body of HŪM KARA,
Crushes the poison of the three worlds,
And causes beings to realize bodhi.
This profound secret
Yoga of Subduing the Three Worlds:
First rely on the True King.
Perform the pure bowing, causing bonds to be crushed.
Enter and establish the Samantabhadra Seal.
Press it to the heart and declare the original vow.
Having explained this, again recite:
“Ma ha câu-lỗ đà tát đát-phộc, hàm”
MAHĀ KRODHASATVA HŪM
Once the words are uttered, the body at once becomes identical
With the Vajra Who Subdues the Three Worlds.
The four seals add jewel and abhisheka;
Garland and armor, the two, are fixed and bound.
Clapping the palms is the same as vajra;
Then enter samadhi.
Contemplate carefully at the heart: the syllable A
Becomes the moon or the sun.
Within it arises the pestle of Five Wisdoms.
_ Next invite the Honored One and the Buddhas
To enter the Body-Joining Samadhi (? Samaya).
Again use the original awakening within;
The four seals added are already complete.
The five: jewel, garland, armor, and clap;
Display inner and outer offerings.
After praise and chanting, recite.
Use the five aspects to accomplish the body.
With the universally joyful great vow,
Wrath: four seals, five Buddhas,
The group of jewel, garland, armor, and clap.
Use the HŪM KARA Seal
To empower the heart and recite the mantra:
“Hồng. Tát đát-phộc vạt nhật-lị, nhạ-phộc la, ma la cú-lỗ đà, hồng, phát tra, a địa để sắt xá, sa-phộc hàm”
HŪM SATVA VAJRI JVALA BALA KRODHA HŪM PHAT _ ADHISTITA SVĀMĀM
_ Next, jewel: the two Winds (the two index fingers) as jewels;
Dharma uses Fire (the middle fingers) like a lotus.
Karma raises Fire (the middle finger) pressing Wind (the index finger).
Forehead, throat, crown: the four seals.
For the five Buddhas, use Mahavairocana.
Within, contemplate the true King.
Free in the Vajra Realm,
Recite this secret speech:
“Án_ Phộc nhật-la nhạ-phộc la, bát-la bả-đa, yết lệ dã. Tát phộc đát tha nghiệt đa, ma hạ phộc nhật-la ma gia, hồng”
OM VAJRA JVALA PRĀPTA KARĪYA SARVA TATHĀGATA MAHĀ VAJRAMĀYA HŪM
_ The four Buddhas share the four seals.
Vajra Buddha Mantra:
“Hồng_ Tát đát-phộc vạt nhật-lị, nhạ-phộc la, mạt la cú-lỗ đà, hồng, phát tra, a tị tru tả hàm”
HŪM SATVA VAJRI JVALA BALA KRODHA HŪM PHAT _ ABHISIMCA MĀM
_ For jewel, use the Vajra Jewel.
The garland and armor seals are as before.
.) The Garland Mantra is: “Án_ vạt nhật-la mãng lệ, nễ-lị trà”
OM _ VAJRA MĀLE DRDHA
.) To put on armor, recite this vidya:
“Án_ vạt nhật-la lạc khất-xoa, nễ-lị trà”
OM _ VAJRA RAKSA DRDHA
_ The four means of gathering and the eight offerings
Are the same as the Vajra Realm rite.
Only manifest them in fierce contraction.
.) The Hook Mantra is: “Án_ Vạt nhật-lãng cú xả, ma hạ cú-lỗ đà, yết lệ gia, sa mãng diêm, hồng, nhạ”
OM VAJRA ANÕKU’SA MAHĀ KRODHA KARĪYA SAMAJAM HŪM _JAH
.) The Noose Mantra is: “Án_ vạt nhật-la bá xả, ma hạ câu-lỗ đà , yết lệ gia, sa mãng diêm, hồng hồng”
OM VAJRA PĀ’SA MAHĀ KRODHA KARĪYA SAMAJAM HŪM _ HŪM
.) The Chain Mantra is: “Án_ vạt nhật-la tắc-phổ tra, ma hạ cú-lỗ đà, yết lệ gia, sa mãng diêm, noan”
OM VAJRA SPHOTA MAHĀ KRODHA KARĪYA SAMAJAM _ VAM
.) The Bell Mantra is: “Án_ Vạt nhật-la phệ xá, ma hạ cú-lỗ đà, yết lệ gia, sa mãng diêm, hộc”
OM VAJRA AVI’SA MAHĀ KRODHA KARĪYA SAMAJAM _ HOH
.) The Joyful Play Mantra is: “Án Vạt nhật-la la tế Ma hạ cú-lỗ đà yết lệ gia , sa mãng diêm, hộc”
OM VAJRA LĀSYE MAHĀ KRODHA KARĪYA SAMAJAM _ HOH
_ Again, first contemplate the wisdom body.
From the heart issues the syllable A;
Before oneself it becomes a moon disk,
Then gives rise to a vajra.
Its five points pour out fierce flames,
Producing samaya: I am this.
_ Again, the Great-Vow Blessed One
Summons Buddhas filling empty space
To enter the Vajra Chain Delight.
_ Again declare the manifest vidya words.
The vajra immediately transforms
Into HŪM KARA Vajra,
Violently wrathful in the moon disk,
His body pouring out masses of blazing light,
His whole form dark blue-black.
The Great Sovereign Deva King
And Lady Uma are his seat.
See them clearly in sequence;
Then empower with the four seals.
_ Again display the karma seal.
When the moon is full, perform the five abhishekas:
Jewel, garland, armor, clap, and the rest.
Give inner and outer offerings.
The body of sattva is free;
Draw out and cast the vajra pestle,
Shaking the great-thousand world.
Recite praises of the One Hundred Eight Names.
Invite all the noble and wise ones.
Hook summons; noose draws them in;
Chain holds them; bell delights them.
The four vidyas summon the wisdom bodies
To enter one's own essence, nondual.
_ Again, the four empowerments display the vow.
When the moon is full, perform the five abhishekas.
When jewel, garland, armor, and clap are done,
Again display inner and outer offerings.
_Then rise up and stand.
Lift the right foot and turn left,
Gathering in that arrogant one,
The Great Sovereign Desire King.
When he has fallen and rolled onto the ground,
Samadhi (the left foot) presses upon his crown.
Wisdom (the right foot) treads upon his queen,
Upon Uma's breasts,
Crushing that self-conceit.
With the foot pressing on his crown,
He is harmed and loses this place;
In the Ash-Adorned Realm he becomes a Buddha.
When abiding in this samadhi,
Stretch the body fully and leap.
If the body leaves defilement,
Know that the Honored One has gathered one in.
Samadhi and Wisdom (the two hands) form vajra fists.
The two Earths (the two little fingers) bind the backs of the Winds (index fingers).
Along the body, contemplate the excellent marks;
See them in sequence as before.
When turning, recite the Foot-Hook Mantra:
“Án_ Ca Na yết lị-sái dữu, phộc nhật-la hồng”
OM _ PĀDA AKĀRSĀYA VAJRA HŪM
_ The Mantra for the Time of Leaping Steps is:
“Án_ Phộc nhật-la ma , hồng”
OM _ VAJRAM HŪM
_ Again see the moon at one's heart;
The vajra is complete with five points.
In the center is the vidya letter TRĪ,
Shooting forth vajra flames.
Abide in this great samadhi.
The Root Mantra of TRĪ,
Or the Heart One-Syllable Vidya,
Or the Karma-Heart Center,
Explain the King's Stopping Mantra.
_ When one has become weary from abiding in concentration,
Only then sit and recite praises.
Display offerings and make vows,
Then perform the Dharma of liberation.
Using the original Dharma, with the four seals,
Draw out and open the four places.
.) The Mantra Above the Heart is:
“Án_ Tát đát-phộc phộc nhật-la, nhạ-phộc la, ma la củ-lỗ đà, hồng, phát tra, mục”
OM SATVA VAJRA JVALA BALA KRODHA HŪM PHAT_ MUH
_ Again use the True King;
With the four seals, draw out and open.
.) The Mantra Above the Heart is:
“Án_ Tát đát-phộc, phộc nhật-lị , hồng”
OM_ SATVA VAJRI HŪM
_ When the assembly of noble ones has returned to their palaces,
Then perform jewel, garland, armor, and clap.
This is the constant protection of the body.
The group of four bows and five directions;
The rest is the same as in the teachings.
The Yoga of Subduing the Three Worlds:
The two wings (two hands) are sealed across the heart.
The Wisdom hand (right hand) holds a five-pronged vajra.
The wrathful arm is as considered below.
Next, arrow and sword are held upright.
Above, the Samadhi hand (left hand) holds the five-pronged hook.
Next the bow, next holding the noose,
All held with straightened arms.
Four faces: the front is blue;
The right is yellow, the left green,
The back red; all are wrathful.
The Great Sovereign Deva King and his queen
Serve as the seat, as explained before.
HŪM KARA Vajra
Makes these excellent marks.
