19.17. A Bhikkhu
Vi-n 1Here, friend, as I was descending Mount Gijjhakùta, I saw a bhikkhu traveling through the air.
Vi-n 2His saṅghāṭi (outer robe) was blazing, burning, and aflame. His bowl was blazing, burning, and aflame. His belt was blazing, burning, and aflame. His body was blazing, burning, and aflame. And he cried out in pain.
Vi-n 3That bhikkhu, bhikkhus, was an evil bhikkhu in the time when the Fully Enlightened Kassapa taught the Dhamma.
