The Buddha Bhaiṣajyaguru Vaiḍūryaprabha Tathāgata (the Medicine Master, the Tathāgata of Lapis Lazuli Radiance) has a body the color of emerald lapis lazuli, abiding within a jeweled palace upon a lotus throne of a hundred jewels (the Hundred-Jewel Lotus Throne), entering the Samādhi of GREAT VOIDNESS and emitting countless rays of light. Within each single ray of light there are countless Emanation-Bodies of the Buddhas, all bearing the form of the Samādhi of Great Voidness. The Buddhas all raise their right palms thus, as if peeling open the petals of a flower, while the left hand curls the little finger and is placed below the navel; he is named the Great Jewel Lapis Lazuli Medicine (Mahāratna Vaiḍūrya Bhaiṣajya).
The ground of that land is purely the color of blue lapis lazuli, and there are immeasurable jeweled flowering trees, as numerous as fine dust-motes. The flowers and leaves of those trees may bear the form of a Buddha emitting immeasurable light, named the BUDDHA PĀRAMITĀ. Or they bear the form of a Bodhisattva producing immeasurable music, named the SAMĀDHI DHĀRAṆĪ.
Or they bear the form of a golden hall (the Golden Hall) emitting immeasurable clouds of a hundred jewels (the Hundred-Jewel Clouds), named the WONDROUS ADORNMENT OF BODHI. Or they bear the form of a jeweled stūpa producing immeasurable Hosts of Devas, named the AWAKENED-WISDOM JEWELED-MOUND SUN RAIN WHEEL, with immeasurable hundreds of thousands of banners and pennants arrayed in rows, and immeasurable jeweled nets, jeweled bells, and jeweled chimes... in adornment.
Before the Buddha, on both the right and left sides, are the Four Castes of those who have gone forth into homelessness (kings, great ministers, brahmins, and householders), all entered into samādhi.
On the left: the first tier is made as the Bodhisattva Vajragarbha-rāja (Vajra-Treasury King) with his whole body the color of bluish-rose, seated upon a jeweled lotus dais, the right hand turned palm-upward holding aloft a Three-Pronged Vajra (Triśūla-vajra) set upright, the left arm bent with the five fingers pointing toward the heavens and the thumb bent to press upon the nail of the little finger. He has an immeasurable number of Bodhisattvas as Attendants. They are named: the Bodhisattva Cloud-Incense, the Bodhisattva Flower-King, the Bodhisattva Vajra-Joined-Palms, the Bodhisattva Fire-Head Heavenly-General, the Bodhisattva Foremost-General...

He has an immeasurable number of Bodhisattvas as Attendants. They are named: the Bodhisattva Blue-Lotus, the Bodhisattva Three-Pronged Vajra-Pestle, the Bodhisattva Single-Pronged Vajra-Bell...

He has an immeasurable number of Bodhisattvas as Attendants. They are named: the Bodhisattva Incense-Censer Bearer, the Bodhisattva Bearer-of-the-Mahā-Mañjūṣaka-Flower...

Behind, near the Tathāgata, are made the 10 Disciples together with 21 or 35 Arhats, each having an immeasurable number of the Śrāvaka assembly as their retinue. Each of the Chief Foremost ones holds an object in accordance with his Original-Form Symbol, while the retinue all abide in their Dharma-Forms, kept to the right of their Vehicle-Dharma, standing on both the right and left sides behind these venerable ones.
