The Buddha said: “Subhuti! When one abides in this samadhi, one is able to experience all the domains of samadhi, perform boundlessly many excellent heroic practices, and lead all states of meditative concentration. This is therefore called the Heroic Practice Samadhi.”

“Blessed One! What is called the Precious Seal Samadhi?”

“Subhuti! When one abides in this samadhi, one is able to penetrate all the domains of samadhi and definitively comprehend the modes of practice and deeds performed. This is therefore called the Precious Seal Samadhi.”

“Blessed One! What is called the Lion’s Play Samadhi?”

“Subhuti! When one abides in this samadhi, one plays freely and sovereignly among all states of meditative concentration. This is therefore called the Lion’s Play Samadhi.”

“Subhuti! When one abides in this samadhi, one is like the bright full moon illuminating all concentrations. This is therefore called the Wondrous Moon Samadhi.”
