7.93. Bad Qualities

TTC 1—Mendicants, there are these seven bad qualities. What seven?

TTC 2Lack of faith, shamelessness, lack of moral dread, little learning, laziness, forgetfulness, and bad wisdom. Mendicants, these are the seven bad qualities.

This collection was translated from the Pali Canon into Vietnamese by the Most Venerable Thích Minh Châu in 1976–1977 and published by the Vạn Hạnh Buddhist Institute, Saigon, in 1980–1981. As part of the translation and publication program for the Vietnamese Buddhist Canon, the collection was revised into 4 volumes and reissued in 1996 as volumes 21, 22, 23, and 24.
